The First Post

Well, after 6 weeks in Sydney I'm finally going to do some travelling, going to camp in the Blue mountains with Karen and Jon, then up the east coast to Cairns. I am hoping they can put up with me that long.....

Some things I've noticed about Sydney, it is most definitely NOT like London. It is more like Birmingham. On Speed. A bit relaxed but go down the wrong street at the wrong time and you will see some transvestites.

Essential travel books - Yes Man by Danny Wallace & The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. Also 400 facts about Chuck Norris is very good, they also have a website which is continually updated. Karen will not allow the Chuck Norris book on the trip, due to the fact it will drive to murder.
